How Repairs Work

1) Call Our Office

Over time you wheelchair may need a repair — that’s normal. Call our office to report the issue and start the repair process. If your insurance provided your wheelchair, the repairs should be covered.

2) In Home Assessment

A Repair Technician will visit your home to assess the wheelchair. They will determine what repairs need to be completed.

3) Prescription

Depending on your insurance, we may request a prescription from your physician for the repair.

4) Insurance Review

When required, we will submit documentation to your insurance for approval. Some plans, such as Medicare, do not require prior authorization.

5) Parts Ordering

Once approved, the parts are ordered from the manufacturer.

6) Repair Visit

After parts arrive, we will schedule a return visit and complete the repair in your home.

Loaner Power Wheelchairs

In some cases, a temporary loaner chair may be available while repairs are being completed. Availability depends on insurance approval and equipment availability.
